PRICE OF THE EXPEDITION INCLUDES:
• All hotel accommodations, meals, group transportation, excursions and other group activities from arrival in Orlando on March 13, 2009, through departure from London following breakfast on April 5, 2009

AIRFARE
Because travelers originate from a variety of home cities, airfares will vary. We are happy to reserve flights in the class of service you prefer, and to arrange for your airport transfers and pre- or post-trip hotel accommodations.

EXPECTATIONS OF TRAVELERS
We consider this a fast-paced, strenuous program. Walking and climbing stairs are required to board and disembark the jet at most airports, to get around in hotels and to participate in many excursions. Riding in four-wheel-drive vehicles on rough terrain or unpaved paths can aggravate back conditions.

Peter Bobrowsky is an internationally recognized research scientist specializing in the last 2 million years of geological history. As Secretary General of the International Union of Geological Sciences and Vice President of the International Consortium of Landslides, he plays a major role in several UNESCO programs. His current research projects are focused in India, China, Peru, and Canada. Known for his informative and easy going lecture style, Dr. Bobrowsky will discuss the influence of geosciences on cultures past, present and future.

Jack Daulton is a compelling lecturer on the art and architecture of non-Western civilizations. He has been a study leader on trips to more than 60 countries around the world. In addition to his academic work in art history, conducted during field research at many sites throughout the world, Jack is a practicing attorney with a special interest in international law relating to preservation and conservation of world monuments.

Amity Wilczek, who recently completed her Ph.D. at Harvard University, continues her research on the evolutionary ecology of plants as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard. Amity is particularly interested in the flora and fauna that evolve in extreme isolation, and has extensively explored the temperate forests of the southern hemisphere. The recipient of multiple teaching awards, she is a popular leader and has led trips to Cuba, Australia, Costa Rica, New Zealand, and the Galapagos Islands.

Lynne is also our primary scout for new and exciting destinations through the world. She resides in Devon, England.

Richard Butler, Expedition Leader, has worked in expedition and cultural travel for more than a decade on all seven continents. He graduated from the University of Southampton, England in 1993 with an Honors Degree in Politics, which sparked his interest in the people and societies of the world. He has traveled with TCS since 2000 on many trips including Around the World, Lost Cities, Africa, and South America. Richard lives in London with his wife and daughter.
